What to test in your first days
24 hours goes quickly, so start your trial on a day when you can watch in the evening. Whether it's the trial or a first month, check the things that matter over a whole subscription:
- Busy evenings and weekends. Watch at peak times, when home broadband and streaming services are under the most load, not only on a quiet afternoon.
- Every device you'll use. Set up each TV or device you plan to watch on, and check the app feels responsive.
- The TV guide. Check the programme guide loads and matches what's on. Our EPG guide explains how it works.
- Picture quality. On 4K Premium, check 4K content looks noticeably sharper on your TV. If not, HD Premium may be better value.
- Several screens at once. If you're planning more than one screen, test them at the same time.
- Getting help. Send us a question and see how the conversation goes.
A simple way to fit it in: start late in the afternoon, set the app up and check the guide straight away, watch through the evening, then try channel-hopping, films and anything else you'd use the next morning. That way your 24 hours cover a peak evening and a quiet morning on the same connection.

- Which apps and devices can I test it on?
